LADIES’ NIGHT OUT FUNDRAISER

Join us for a fun social evening of music, refreshments, and stalls to browse for quality goods and handcrafted gifts and treats – an excellent chance for some Christmas shopping.  Free admission.

The first Sunday in September has become a special date in our church calendar as we join with our community for the annual Rushbearing Festival.  On its’ route between Sowerby and Triangle, the rushcart and pullers make a stop at St Mary’s for a short service sometime around 1-1.30pm, where the old rushes are removed from the church and the new rushes presented.  Refreshments are also available.  For more information about the history of the festival and programme of events for the weekend, visit the website.
